Blur
Because forever feels too long,
when today was only a blur.
I cant keep losing her.
So…
I leave one light on — in that mansion of thought,
where I keep her.
I love every part of her.
Still the past
cut-up picture of tears, and fear, and anxiety
torn and thrown like rain.
They all eventually come falling down.
Off the ground I gather them all,
like proof
”I’ve been there.”
And again,
I have to see once more—
So I throw all those pieces in the air.
